Cookie policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
The short version
- We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
- No analytics, no ads, no cookies from other companies following you around.
- That's why you see no cookie banner: the law doesn't require one for these.
The cookies we use
There are three, all from Thrensy and all necessary. No page can read them with JavaScript, only our server.
| Name | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|
thrensy_session | Knowing it's you while you use the app | 10 minutes |
thrensy_refresh | Renewing your session without a new code | 30 days |
thrensy_oauth | Protecting sign-in with Google or Microsoft | 10 minutes |
Also, Cloudflare, which protects the website from attacks, may set a technical cookie (such as __cf_bm) to tell people from bots. It isn't used to track you either.
What we keep in your browser
Besides cookies, your browser remembers a couple of preferences so we don't ask every time. They never leave your device.
| Name | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|
mode-watcher-mode, mode-watcher-theme | Remembering whether you prefer light or dark theme | Until you clear it |
PARAGLIDE_LOCALE | Remembering your language | Until you clear it |
thrensy-close-hint:* | Remembering you don't want to close a finished list yet | Until you clear it |
thrensy-reloaded-at | Stopping the page from reloading in a loop after an update | Until you close the tab |
How do I delete them?
In your browser settings, under privacy or site data. If you delete the cookies you'll be signed out and need to sign in again. If you delete the rest, Thrensy goes back to your default theme and language.
Want to know more about your data? It's in the Privacy policy.
